How can I delete attachments on the forums?

Forum attachments such as project files or screenshots can be managed by going to your forum account settings page. Since there is a limit to the size of forum attachments allowed, periodically cleaning out old forum attachments can help to ensure the ability to add new attachments as needed. If you're unsure of the steps required to delete a forum attachment, please follow the steps below.

Click on "Settings" at the top of the Connect page.

Please note: You must be logged in and have a forum account in order to see the Settings link.

Alternatively, you can click here to access the Settings page.

Scroll down the page until you see "Attachments"

If you're having difficulty locating "Attachments", please see the next step for a screenshot of the location.

Click on "Attachments" under "Miscellaneous"

Alternatively, you can click here in order to access the Attachments page.

Select the checkbox next to the attachment(s) you wish to delete

Please note: You can select multiple attachments at once or select all attachments by checking the box in the title bar to the right of "Attachments Posted by YourUsername"

Click the "Delete Selected" button at the bottom of the page to delete your attachments

Important: Once you click "Delete Selected" your attachments will be deleted from the server permenantly and there is no way to restore them. Please be sure you have chosen your attachments carefully before choosing to delete your attachments!
