I noticed that the Flash tutorials on the site are all about six years old, considering that Flash is now at CS5.5 and I started a subscription with this site to help in my Flash class at school. It would be very beneficial to have a variety of all new Flash tutorials using Flash CS5 at least and ranging in beginner to advanced. Everything from making a simple animated postcard, to a small 5 minute flash movie, tutorials involving inverse kinematics (bone tool), creating interactive website based in Flash, creating and making a web page fully interactive (it's buttons and drop down menus similar to Youtube) as well as web based games (similar to the Facebook Dragon Age game made by Bioware).
That and more would be very useful for DigitalTutors to offer.
Comments latest first
I would also love to see a Flash Course on how to make a short animated cartoon and techniqes that would be useful, like rigging up a character, camera shots, blur techniques, how to tween the characters and such as there are only very limited amateur flash tutorials on the web which only touch on the most basic subjects. A course like that would go a long way since there are still studios out there using flash to create cartoons like Wakfu, the amazing world of gumball among many more.
more flash training, raise of tablet Flash might be dead like zombie. But still great tool to create 2D animation.
hey man if your getting into flash check out Wokfu
their school of thought is to use the time line as a library for the whole body
there are some kool cheats you can set up in flash for making it more friendly
from script break down
to boarding
to blocking
to animation drawing on two or ones in the traditional sense
and setting a up turn tables similar to toonboom
output can be done pro styles for printing boards out
to animatic / blocking and character reviews it really is an awesome program
if there was more stuff on say how WOKFU studio delt with flash it would be sooooo totally aweeeesome
Ya that sounds good also.
I would love to see a really great 2D work flow that keeps animator as animator and in the moment of timeing a character out - using something like the 11 second club
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS STUFF TOO!
