Why am I not being logged into the forum when I login to the website?

Your Digital-Tutors forum account is tied into your Digital-Tutors account, however sometimes the secondary login to the forum doesn't happen for technical reasons. If this happens to you, please clear your cookies, re-open your browser and login once more. This forces the browser to update cookies and resolves most login issues. If you're unsure of how to clear out browser cache, please choose the appropriate step for your browser below.

If you are receiving an "Invalid username or password" error or have forgotten your password, please click here to view instructions on how to reset your password.

Important!

Deleting all browser cache and cookies will remove any and all stored data for all websites on your system. This means you may lose things like browser-stored passwords for other sites. Digital-Tutors cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting in the deleting of cache or cookies for other sites. If you do not wish to delete all the browser cache and cookies, please be sure to only remove the cookies for Digital-Tutors' website.

 

Remove all cache and cookies in Firefox

Please note: If you have not already done so, please read this important note about deleting all cache and cookies.

Step 01 Open the Clear Recent History Window

Go to Tools > Clear Recent History to open the Clear Recent History Window. Alternatively, you can use the hotkey Ctrl+Shift+Del. Open the Clear Recent History Window

Step 02 Change the "Time range to clear" to "Everything"

Step 04Verify that "Cookies" is checked

Optional: If you wish to clear all browser cache, you may check all of the boxes shown in the screenshot.

Step 05Click the "Clear Now" button

Please note: Depending on the amount of cache stored on your system, clearing out all of the cache may take a few moments.

Click the Clear Now button

Step 06 Once the cache is cleared, please try logging in again.

Log in again

Remove only Digital-Tutors cookies in Firefox

Step 01 Open the Options Window

Go to Tools > Options to open the Options Window. Open the Options Window

Step 02 Click on "Privacy"

Click on Privacy

Step 03 Click on the "remove individual cookies" link

Click on the remove individual cookies link

Step 04 Find "digitaltutors.com" in the list of sites

Find digitaltutors.com in the list of sites

Step 05 With the digitaltutors.com folder selected, click the "Remove Cookies" button

Click the Remove Cookies button

Step 06 Once the digitaltutors.com folder is deleted, you may close out of the open Options windows and log in again.

Log in again

Remove all cache and cookies in Chrome

Please note: If you have not already done so, please read this important note about deleting all cache and cookies.

Step 01 Open the "Clear browsing data" window

Go to the wrench icon > Tools > Clear browsing data... to open the Clear Browsing Data Window. Alternatively, you can use the hotkey Ctrl+Shift+Del. Open the Clear Browsing Data Window

Step 02 In the "Obliterate the following items from" dropdown box, choose "the beginning of time"

Set Chrome to Obliterate the following items from the beginning of time.

Step 03Verify that "Delete cookies" is checked and check any other cache that you may want to delete

Verify the cookies will be deleted

Step 04Click the "Clear browsing data" button

Step 01 Click on the wrench icon in the top right and then click on "Options"

Step 05 Find any references to digitaltutors.com or www.digitaltutors.com in the list of sites

Step 01 Open the "Delete Browsing History" window

Click on "Safety" and then click on "Delete Browsing History..." to open the Delete Browsing History Window. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Del. Open the Delete Browsing History Window

Step 02Verify that "Cookies" is checked

Please note: If digitaltutors.com is in your Favorites list, please verify that the "Preserve Favorites website data" is not checked.

Step 03Optional: Check the box next to any other cache that you may want to delete

Step 04Click the "Delete" button

Remove only Digital-Tutors cookies in Internet Explorer

Step 01 Verify you are on the Digital-Tutors website at www.digitaltutors.com

Verify you are on the DT website

Step 02 Click on Tools > Developer Tools to access the Developer Tools Window

Click on "Tools" and then click on "Developer Tools" to open the Developer Tools Window. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut F12. Hit F12 to open the Developer Tools Window

Step 03 Open the Cache menu and click on "Clear Cookies for Domain"

Click on Clear Cookies for Domain in the Cache menu

Step 04 Click the "Yes" button to verify deletion of cookies for www.digitaltutors.com

Click the Yes button

Step 05 Click the "X" to close the Developer Tools window and return to the Digital-Tutors website

Click the X to close the Developer Tools window

Step 06 Please try logging in again

Log in again
